We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Sourcing Manager - Indirect to join our Procurement team and drive value across a broad portfolio of indirect spend categories. \nThis role is responsible for managing approximately $65-$70 million in annual spend across multiple suppliers and manufacturing locations. You will lead sourcing activities across site services, engineering, capital projects, operational consumables, and co-manufacturing partnerships, ensuring procurement delivers commercial value while supporting operational excellence. \nWorking closely with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and external suppliers, you will influence strategic sourcing decisions, strengthen supplier partnerships, and help shape the future of procurement within Sanitarium. \nKey Responsibilities \nDevelop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver value, savings, and operational improvements. \nManage a diverse indirect spend portfolio, including engineering, facilities, consumables, logistics, and business services. \nBuild strong supplier partnerships and lead commercial negotiations and contract management activities. \nIdentify opportunities to reduce costs, mitigate risk, and improve supplier performance. \nProvide spend analysis, market insights, and recommendations to support business decision-making. \nEnsure procurement activities comply with company policies, standards, and audit requirements. \nPartner with operational and leadership teams to understand business needs and deliver sourcing solutions. \nSupport procurement transformation, continuous improvement, and sustainability initiatives across the business. \n\nAbout You \nYou are a commercially minded procurement professional who thrives on building strong relationships, negotiating win-win outcomes, and identifying opportunities to create value. \n\nWhat You'll Bring \nExperience in sourcing, procurement, category management, or supply chain roles within FMCG, manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or related environments. \nStrong commercial and negotiation skills. \nExperience managing supplier contracts and strategic supplier relationships. \nAbility to analyse spend data and identify trends, opportunities, and risks. \nStrong stakeholder management and influencing capability. \nUnderstanding of maintenance, engineering, or manufacturing environments. \nExcellent organisational, project management, and communication skills. \nExperience using ERP and procurement systems such as SAP. \n\nDesirable \nDegree qualification in Business, Commerce, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field. \nExperience managing engineering, capital projects, facilities, or indirect procurement categories. \nKnowledge of contract management and commercial agreements. \nExperience with Power BI, spend analytics, and digital procurement tools. \nUnderstanding of logistics, freight, and Incoterms. \n\nWhy Join Sanitarium? \n\nAll applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have the legal right to work in Australia. \n\nWe are an organisation driven by our mission and values.
