The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and maintainable business solutions using Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Custom Pages, JavaScript, and C# extensions.\n\nWorking under the direction of the Technical Lead, the role translates business and solution requirements into high-quality platform implementations while promoting the use of out-of-the-box capabilities before custom development. The role contributes to engineering excellence through code reviews, technical mentoring, adherence to development standards, and support of modern ALM and CI/CD practices.\n\nThe successful candidate will help drive platform sustainability, solution quality, and continuous improvement while enabling business teams to maximize value from Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.\nWhat will make you successful in this role?\n\nRole Requirements:\n\nSolution Development & Platform Engineering\n\nDesign, develop, and configure Dynamics 365 and Dataverse solutions.\n\nBuild and maintain Model-Driven Apps, Power Apps, and Custom Pages.\n\nConfigure forms, views, dashboards, business rules, business process flows, and security models.\n\nDevelop reusable platform components and solution accelerators.\n\nEnsure solutions align to enterprise architecture standards and Power Platform best practices.\n\nCustom Development & Extensibility\n\nDevelop and maintain Dynamics 365 Plugins using C# and .NET.\n\nBuild and consume Custom APIs and Custom Actions.\n\nCreate JavaScript-based client-side customisations.\n\nExtend Dynamics 365 functionality using supported extensibility frameworks.\n\nPerform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.\n\n\rIntegration & Data Services\n\nImplement integrations between Dynamics 365 and internal or external applications.\n\nConsume and expose REST APIs and Dataverse services.\n\nSupport integration patterns using Azure services where required.\n\nAssist with data migration and synchronisation initiatives.\n\nCollaborate with architects and integration teams to deliver scalable and supportable solutions.\n\nPlatform ALM & Deployments\n\nManage managed and unmanaged solution deployments across environments.\n\nSupport CI/CD processes and automated deployment pipelines.\n\nApply Power Platform ALM practices and environment governance standards.\n\nMaintain source control, branching strategies, and release documentation.\n\nParticipate in environment management and release planning activities.\n\nQuality & Engineering Excellence\n\nDevelop unit tests and support system, integration, and user acceptance testing.\n\nTroubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation.\n\nSupport monitoring, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nPromote modern engineering practices and platform governance standards.\n\nExperience and Qualifications\n\rExperience\n\n5-8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataverse.\n\nProven experience building Power Apps, Custom Pages, and Power Automate solutions.\n\nExperience developing C# Plugins, Custom APIs, and Custom Actions.\n\nStrong experience with JavaScript customisation within Dynamics 365.\n\nExperience with solution deployment, ALM, and CI/CD processes.\n\nExperience integrating Dynamics 365 with external applications and APIs.\n\nExperience working within Agile delivery teams.\n\nQualifications\n\nDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent.\n\nMicrosoft Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) preferred.\n\nPower Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200) advantageous.\n\nDynamics 365 and Power Platform certifications advantageous.\n\nAzure Fundamentals (AZ-900) advantageous.\n\nCompetencies\n\nLeadership \n\nSets direction, codifies standards, raises the bar on code quality, testing, and documentation; coaches and uplifts the squad. \n\nBuild a successful career with us\n\rWe’re all about building strong, lasting relationships with our employees.
