The DC Supervisor provides support to employees and, at the discretion of DC leadership, other departments as necessary.\nShift: 12:30 - 9:00 pm \nWhat Will You Be Doing?\nIdentify and coordinate daily activities to achieve desired results in productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge.\nOversee all aspects of the distribution center to ensure the products are processed and delivered in an accurate and timely manner.\nProvide day-to-day direction and development to hourly staff to include coaching, counseling, career development, and corrective actions.\nConduct annual performance appraisals and provide continued feedback on overall performance.\nInterview and hire new employees.\nCollaborate across departments to drive optimal productivity.\nAnalyze business and performance trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.\nFoster an environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued.\nRespond to employee needs, including professionalism, respect, and consideration of others.\nManage difficult employee situations in a professional manner.\nWhat Are We Looking For?\nBachelor's Degree Preferred\n4-6 years of warehouse experience\n1-3 years as a lead or supervisor\nBilingual (Spanish) is a plus.\nShould be able to read, write, and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information and verbally communicate with customers.\nDemonstrated ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require.\nExhibits sound and accurate judgment.\nDemonstrates flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment.\nDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors work to ensure quality.\nStrong conflict management skills.\nStrong interpersonal and negotiation skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nBe self-directed and motivated.\nTake initiative to identify and anticipate department needs and make recommendations for implementation.\nAbility to work in high-demand, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.\nAble to work both independently and within a team.\nDemonstrated verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong attention to detail.\nWhat's Our Offer?\nBonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.\nPaid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 152 hours per year to start. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 60 pounds. The employee operates powered equipment requiring use of both hands as well as full range of motion of the neck, head and back. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, grasp and perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motions. The employee is frequently required to climb stairs, kneel/squat, bend and carry. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee may be required to wear a headset covering one or both ears. Employee will be required to wear Personal protective equipment such as a Protective harness while operating equipment. Basic English literacy is required for operation of machines and necessary daily paperwork. Work environment is moderately noisy. The employee is occasionally required to work near conveyor systems. There is exposure to dust and changes in weather conditions. Work is performed under typical warehouse conditions.
