They perform administrative tasks at headquarters and support services across Distribution Centers nationwide.\nWhat Will You Be Doing?\nOwn operational responsibility for enterprise LAN/WAN environments across multiple sites.\nIndependently analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues involving switches, routing, wireless, and connectivity services. Configure and deploy network equipment.\nTroubleshoot and provide solutions to hardware and software problems; install, upgrade, repair, and remove hardware and software.\nResponsible for Network Infrastructure Support Tickets; is an escalation resource for the Service Desk and further escalates tickets as required.\nConfigure, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, wireless access points, and edge connectivity.\nPartner with Network Engineers on network design, capacity planning, and infrastructure refresh initiatives.\nActively identify opportunities to improve network reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.\nAssist with network-related projects and tasks.\nTurn up/turn down ethernet ports as requested by SanMar internal customers and Network Engineers.\nMaintain adequate inventory levels and troubleshoot network issues.\nCreate and maintain documentation relating to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.\nModify and build physical and logical network maps.\nRespond to network outages/impacts according to the set Service Level Agreements (SLA).\nPerform after-hours network support during scheduled and unscheduled outages and standard patching requirements.\nSeek approval for all work related to business-impacting IT systems through established change approval processes.\nMake physical visits to remote locations for infrastructure refreshes or support.\nParticipate in compliance activities.\nParticipate in On-Call rotation.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nComply with all policies and standards.\nWhat Are We Looking For?\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience\n2+ years of Network Support experience in an enterprise environment\nExperience supporting multi site or distributed network environments\nStrong hands on experience with Cisco switching platforms and CLI\nCisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)\nA Self Starter with a positive attitude and a passion for learning networking technologies\nAble to quickly respond to service impacts; possess a strong troubleshooting acumen\nA proactive approach to daily work, able to identify opportunities for continuous improvement\nDemonstrated strength in communication with the ability to convey technical subject matter to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface daily with internal customers\nEnjoys working in a team environment and actively participate in projects\nStrong planning and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to shift from one task to another in an agile work environment\nWhat's Our Offer?\nSalary Range: You`ll earn between $85,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience.\nBonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.\nPaid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Periodic travel may be required. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and participating in virtual and in-person meetings. Frequent use of hands for keyboarding and standard office equipment is required. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching may be needed to attend meetings or collaborate in an office setting. The role requires the ability to perform close visual work on a computer for extended periods. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-15 pounds.
