# Production Planner

At SanMar, the work you do makes a difference. What's the Short Version? The Production Planner is responsible for managing and executing inventory depth targets for specific product categories. What Will You Be Doing? Accurately analyze and forecast style, color and size demand for specific product categories. Manage monthly projections and adjustments. Manage and develop orders to support target depth of inventory and flow plans Review website to ensure product descriptions and other information is accurately presented. Proactively react to changes in business and work with internal/external partners to replenish inventory as quickly as possible. Partner with Production Planning Assistant to monitor orders and to expedite as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. What Are We Looking For? 6+ years of applicable work experience or equivalent education Proficient with Microsoft Excel Detail oriented individual with strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills Ability to make independent decisions with little supervision Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Responsive to staff needs including professional
