This role goes beyond transactional processing and requires strong ownership, leadership, and strategic thinking to manage the fixed assets lifecycle and contribute to broader finance transformation initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOwn and manage the end-to-end fixed assets accounting process in SAP.\nEnsure accurate asset capitalization, transfers, disposals, and depreciation Run.\nMonitor and process monthly depreciation run.\nReconcile fixed assets sub-ledger with general ledger.\nLead and support month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.\nContribute to transition planning, knowledge sharing, and backup resource training.\nIdentify opportunities for automation and efficiency using tools like SAP and Blackline.\nMonth End Close Support:\nExpected to provide extended support during month-end close cycles, typically spanning 5 to 7 working days, depending on volume and entity complexity.\nCoordination with retained/Controller teams and responsiveness to time-sensitive requests is essential during this period.\nCompliance & Controls:\nMaintain compliance with internal controls, SOX, and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).\nProvide insights and support for audits and Maintain documentation and support internal/external audits.\nOwnership & Strategic Contribution:\nTake full ownership of assigned entities and ensure timely and accurate reporting.\nAct as a key point of contact for cross-functional teams (Controlling, Projects, Procurement) to ensure alignment and data consistency.\nIdentify and drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardization across entities.\nSupport transition planning, onboarding, and training of new or backup resources.\nLeadership Responsibilities:\nLead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.\nSupport transition planning, cross-training, and succession readiness within the team.\nMonitor KPIs and contribute to performance reviews and continuous improvement efforts.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA, MCom CA(IPCC), CMA Inter.\n2-5 years of experience in fixed assets accounting or general ledger.\nProficiency in SAP especially Asset Accounting module.\nStrong Excel skills: experience with Blackline is a plus.\nGood understanding of IFRS/GAAP accounting principles.\nExcellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to work independently, take ownership, and contribute to strategic initiatives.\nPursue progress, discover extraordinary\nBetter is out there.
