In this role, you will bridge traditional networking and modern platform/DevOps needs, ensuring our distributed applications, cloud services, and internal systems operate with ultra-low latency, high resilience, and maximum efficiency.\nYou will also act as the technical subject matter expert for network data paths, traffic management, and performance diagnostics by interacting with cross-functional team engineers, architects, internal and vendor partners to evangelize and provide NextGEN network technology solutions to;\nMaximize the business value from Sanofi’s Digital Technology and Solutions investments.\nUnleash innovation for our organization, employees, and customers.\nMain responsibilities:\nPlatform Automation EngineeringWith expertise across routing, switching, WAN, data center, and cloud networking, automation of network provisioning, configuration, validation, compliance, monitoring, and remediation.\nDesign and develop scalable, reusable automation frameworks and services.\nAutomate complex multi-vendor network environments across LAN, WAN, data center, SD-WAN, and cloud.\nDevelop automated workflows for network changes, incident remediation, and lifecycle management.\nIdentify opportunities to eliminate repetitive manual network operations.\nDevelop API-driven workflows and automation services.\nEstablish automation standards, design patterns, coding practices, and reusable modules.\nMonitor Connectivity platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and automate routine tasks.\nMaintain CI/CD pipelines, security, and data protection for platform systems.\n\nPlatform Performance EngineeringDevelop automated network health and compliance checks.\nIntegrate telemetry, monitoring, logging, and analytics platforms into automation workflows.\nBuild event-driven automation and automated remediation capabilities.\nLeverage AI/ML and AIOps capabilities to improve network troubleshooting and operational efficiency.\nEvaluate opportunities for predictive analytics and intelligent network operations.\nMonitoring and analyzing network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning strategies \nDrive Automation & Continuous improvement of Network platform solutioning, specification & design, systems integration, platform lifecycle management, standards, and documentation.\nDrive process improvements that integrate automation and monitor effectiveness to improve efficiency & service delivery.\nConduct regular audits, performance tests, generate reports, and track KPIs for network health to manage resource allocation within the network to meet platform demand.\n\nAbout you:\nLeadership & Behavioral CompetenciesTechnology leadership skills along with strong Interpersonal & Problem-Solving skills.\nAn enthusiasm for staying up to date with the very latest updates with Network technology solutions.\nAbility to translate business and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nStrong software engineering mindset.\nAbility to influence engineering decisions.\nStrong written and verbal communication.\nAbility to work effectively across geographically distributed teams.\nStrong focus on operational excellence, reliability, security, and scalability.\n\nTechnical Skills\n7+ years of experience in network engineering, with substantial experience in network automation.\nStrong enterprise networking background with expertise in routing, switching, WAN, SD-WAN, and network security.\nAdvanced Python programming experience.\nStrong hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs, Git, JSON, and YAML.\nExperience developing production-grade automation frameworks.\nExperience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.\nExperience working with multi-vendor network environments.\nStrong understanding of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management.\nNetworking in cloud computing experience (Azure, AWS, & GCP)\nFamiliarity and understanding of tunnelling protocols (vxLAN, GRE, IPSec)\nWorking knowledge of DNS, Tacacs, Radius, DHCP, NetFlow, Syslog, etc.\nExposure to SCADA modelled Network and concepts.\nVendor (technical) management experience\nOccasional work outside business hours\n\nPursue progress, discover extraordinary\nBetter is out there.
