This role is responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving ServiceNow applications to drive business value throughout the service lifecycle. The Senior Developer manages complex technical implementations while leading strategic development initiatives that require sophisticated coding and platform transformation.\nMain responsibilities:\nServiceNow Platform Development\nDesign and implement ServiceNow solutions in collaboration with DIGITAL teams, in alignment with Service Designers and Business Analysts\nTake accountability for code quality, performance, and adherence to development standards\nDevelop and maintain applications, workflows, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform\nEstablish technical roadmaps that support business objectives and enhance service delivery capabilities\nSolution Architecture and Implementation\nGuide development teams and business analysts on optimal technical approaches and provide expert implementation support\nEnsure coding best practices are followed in every sprint/delivery\nCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed applications and processes\nCoordinate with third-party vendors to manage technical activities and ensure timely completion\nDrive continuous improvement of implemented solutions based on performance metrics and user feedback\nTechnical Leadership\nLead or contribute to strategic development projects requiring complex coding and platform customization\nCoordinate activities with cross-functional team members to drive project completion and technical excellence\nEstablish and maintain development standards, methodologies, and governance\nIdentify and mitigate technical risks through proactive planning and code reviews\nStakeholder Management and Technical Advocacy\nTranslate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions\nBuild partnerships across the organization to champion effective technical approaches\nFacilitate technical workshops and collaborative sessions to align stakeholders on solution architecture\nMentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and support\nInnovation and Continuous Improvement\nIdentify emerging ServiceNow capabilities and technologies that could benefit the organization\nRecommend process and technology improvements based on platform capabilities and industry best practices\nImplement measurement frameworks to evaluate solution effectiveness\nDrive adoption of new capabilities through technical enablement and knowledge sharing\nAbout you\nExperience\n5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and customization\nProven track record in implementing and managing ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments\nExperience with ServiceNow modules including CSM, SPM and HRSD platform capabilities\nBackground in service management with focus on technical solution delivery\nExperience in a global, cross-functional environment\nServiceNow certifications preferred (Administrator, Developer, Implementation Specialist)\nSoft skills\nWell-organized with ability to structure, prioritize, and meet deadlines\nExcellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts at different organizational levels\nHands-on approach to problem-solving and solution implementation\nEffective business partnering and customer relationship management\nStrategic thinking with ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes\nTechnical skills\nAdvanced in ServiceNow platform development (JavaScript, business rules, UI policies, client scripts)\nAdvanced in ServiceNow administration and configuration (CSM, SPM, HRSD modules)\nAdvanced in integration technologies (REST, SOAP, MID Server)\nAdvanced in workflow design and implementation\nAdvanced in data privacy principles and security best practices\nIntermediate in designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow Employee Self Service (ESS) and Service Portal solutions\nIntermediate in developing and customizing Service Portal widgets using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript\nIntermediate in configuring and maintaining Employee Center / Service Portal knowledge management capabilities\nWorking knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and Continuous Improvement frameworks\nUnderstanding of data modelling and database design techniques\nLanguages: English (fluent)\nPursue progress, discover extraordinary\nBetter is out there.
