We represent diverse experiences and backgrounds which strengthens our team and mirrors the healthcare communities we engage.\nMain Responsibilities:\nThe Japan vaccines Franchise Medical Manager will participate to and execute the Medical and scientific (non-promotional) strategy for the Influenza & Covid Vaccines portfolio/therapeutic area in close partnership with the other functional franchise leads and in alignment with the overall franchise strategy.\nThe main responsibilities include:\nUtilize strong business acumen, acting as a key strategic business partner to the organization\nInitiate and drive projects to raise standards of care and change clinical practice\nAbility to work independently with a solutions-oriented and balanced approach to ambiguity\nLead and drive rapid integrated evidence planning and execution through deep understanding of internal and external stakeholder evidence needs and robust data gaps analysis\nDeep therapy area expertise and product knowledge including competitor data\nDrive strong collaborative relationships with commercial and cross-functional teams, including marketing, value & access, health economics, regulatory and clinical\nCultivate and maintain relationships with external experts\nDrive collaborative relationships with above-country colleagues to ensure the MCO / country involvement and strategic input into global and regional plans\nGood understanding of the impact and evolution of healthcare systems\nLead creation and implementation of medical plans\nAbility to rapidly assimilate new data and integrate into new therapy area\nCreate industry leading digital educational and scientific content that is timely, relevant, interactive and innovative\n Champion the patient voice when developing and implementing medical strategies\nDemonstrate strong leadership influencing across networks and by coaching and mentoring members of the team\nAbout you\nEducation/Experience/Certification:\nDoctorate level education: MD or equivalent medical degree preferred, PhD or PharmD\nIndustry experience (including medical affairs field or office) and/or clinical experience mandatory, ideally with relevant immunology, vaccinology, epidemiology, public health or internal medicine focus on acute medicine/ICU experience.\nGood understanding of the continuum of data generation including clinical development, Real World Evidence (RWE) and data gaps analysis\nAbility to act independently with a solutions-oriented and balanced approach to the grey areas\nExcellent communication skills including driving challenging discussions· Develop a good understanding of HCP communication preferences to adapt communication style and optimize use of relevant channels to suit\nImplement true scientific engagement journeys by bridging channel disconnect to drive ongoing engagement and grow collaborative opportunities and meaningful scientific exchange\nBe confident in the use of Omnichannel tools and ability to adapt to new channels\nEffectively and compliantly share unmet needs of HCPs and their centers with cross-functional teams to inform patient centric strategy\nPursue progress, discover extraordinary\nBetter is out there.
