It’s no easy task, but nothing rewarding ever is.\nWhat you'll do \nJoin our Reliability and Maintenance team in Brisbane as a Mechanical Maintenance Planner, where you will play a key role in keeping our Midstream and Hydrocarbon Facilities running safely and reliably.\nReporting to the Planning and Scheduling Lead within Midstream and Energy Solutions, you will develop and manage mechanical maintenance work scopes, plans, and execution-ready work packs. You will ensure all activities align with the Santos Management System, maintenance and reliability strategies, and EHS standards - supporting safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations across our assets.\nKey responsibilities \nDevelop execution-ready work orders and work packs covering all technical, safety, resource, and logistics requirements. \nMaintain a two-week calendar of work activities by operational area.\nPlan and prioritise mechanical maintenance activities aligned with asset criticality, risk assessments, and operational requirements. \nReview work requests for completeness, scope, and resource requirements. \nCoordinate procurement and materials to support schedule compliance. \nCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Shutdowns, and Contractor Partners to optimise maintenance delivery. \nContribute to continuous improvement in planning processes and work management practices. \nWhat you'll bring \nEssential\nKnowledge of planning and scheduling processes, tools, and/or logistics coordination. \nBroad oil and gas background with significant operational and engineering experience. \nFive or more years in maintenance activity planning. \nDesirable\nTrade Certificate or Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation (preferred but not mandatory). \nExperience in SAP ERP and Prometheus. \nWhat you’ll get: \nHere, you’ll be amongst high-calibre people and get to work on industry-leading projects.
