It’s no easy task, but nothing rewarding ever is.\nWhat you’ll do: \nProvide technical leadership in the delivery of optimised short-term maintenance schedules and support the efficient delivery of routine maintenance, strategic maintenance campaign schedules and planned maintenance shutdowns for Varanus Island.\nBased from our Brisbane office, you will contribute to delivering cost reduction efficiencies and value creation strategies. You will capture lessons learned and promote a culture of continuous improvement to deliver consistently safe and efficient maintenance schedules and work practices.\nKey responsibilities \nDevelop, refine and accept execution schedules, ensuring all scheduled work is confirmed as planned and ready to execute \nEnsure minimum planning standards are met before work is scheduled and that only planned and approved work orders are included in schedules \nConfirm material readiness prior to scheduling, including bagging and tagging \nSchedule work to the day, aligned with SWPP permit planning requirements \nOptimise the two-weekly schedule for production utilisation and resource levelling, including common services such as cranes and work platforms \nEnsure Safety Critical Maintenance, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance compliance targets are met \nMaintain ready and identifiable filler work to maximise tool time when scheduled work is delayed or unavailable \nLead fortnightly draft schedule review meetings and schedule close-out reviews \nParticipate in Gate 3 Execution Readiness Reviews and support campaign event close-out \nEscalate Priority 1 and Priority 2 work orders that have exceeded their late-finish date \nWhat you'll bring \n\nExperience in short-term maintenance scheduling in an oil and gas or resources environment \nProficiency in SAP, SharePoint and Prometheus \nStrong understanding of execution scheduling, resource levelling and maintenance compliance requirements \nAbility to manage competing priorities and maintain schedule integrity under operational pressure \nEffective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across site and Brisbane-based teams \nCommitment to safety, continuous improvement and delivering efficient maintenance outcomes \nWhat you’ll get: \nHere, you’ll be amongst high-calibre people and get to work on industry-leading projects.
