With the buildout of new Sovereign Cloud regions, you will be taking part in laying the foundation towards a unified and competitive business in the regulated industry.\nYou will be responsible for production cloud operations of our multitenant solutions in Germany.\nThe role includes the following tasks:\nCloud Operations: Design, implement, monitor, maintain and optimize the SAP Sovereign Cloud system landscape for Germany.\nSetup of a multi-system landscape architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies.\nProvide on-call support for incidents and performance degradations.\nContinuous improvement of implementation documentation\nPartner with engineering team to design and enhance the cloud operation processes\nWhat you will bring\nA growing ability to work with independence on technical issues, combined with a collaborative mindset and willingness to work alongside experienced engineers across different time zones.\nSolid working knowledge of GitLab.\nFoundational hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.\nGood working knowledge of Linux, including SUSE.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and workflows.\nFamiliarity with one or more of the following: Kubernetes, Helm, Python, BASH scripting.\nIntermediate experience with hyperscaler services, cloud computing concepts and databases.\nDeveloping debugging and troubleshooting skills with a genuine interest in solving technical problems.\nAbility to manage competing tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nA willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with on-call duties and flexibility to work in shifts, ensuring consistent coverage and support.
