What you'll build
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop robust, scalable, and performant applications leveraging cloud-native best practices, patterns and components
- Work with AI-assisted and agentic development tools (e.g., Claude Code), including AI-supported code reviews, testing, and reusable development skills integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Develop new features and support and maintain the existing Java code base as the primary development focus
- Support and maintain existing ABAP code base (up to 20% on average)
- Collaborate and align with other teams in the unit
- Regularly evaluate the services we develop for performance and cost optimizations
- Identify and suggest learning opportunities, proactively and continuously share knowledge with peers and the team
- Support the product team and development teams in ensuring compliance standards are met
What you bring
- You are currently a Bachelor's student in any IT related-field such as computer science, IT engineering, software engineering, etc.
- Knowledge of Java, ABAP, or another object-oriented programming language
- Willingness to learn ABAP (in case you do not have knowledge of ABAP)
- Interest in or understanding of AI-assisted and agentic software development; hands-on experience is a plus
- A fluent level of English
