The newly created Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations business unit is part of SAP Product Engineering with responsibility across the relevant Sovereign Cloud portfolio of SAP. Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations is collaborating closely with all Board areas to establish a harmonized, scalable, and consistent offering with transparent and standardized deliverables.\nYour future role\n We are looking for an intermediatelevel SAP S/4HANA (Basis) Engineer who will manage the daily cloud operations of our Sovereign Cloud offering. You will work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components or applications. You have strong technical knowledge of SAP systems and databases. Additional responsibilities include managing periodic maintenance activities, refreshes, patching, and upgrades.\nThe role includes the following tasks:\nDesign, implement, monitor, maintain and optimize SAP S/4HANA systems for SAP Sovereign Cloud in Germany.\nSetup of a multi-system landscape architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies.\nProvide on-call support for incidents and performance degradations.\nContinuous improvement of implementation documentation\nPartner with engineering team to design and enhance the cloud operation processes\nWhat you will bring\n\nBetween 1 and 3 years of SAP experience, with at least 1 year of hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA.\nAt least 1 year of practical experience in the implementation, upgrade, or support of SAP S/4HANA systems.\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate field.\nSome exposure to or involvement in disaster recovery (DR) planning and testing.\nA problem-solving mindset with foundational skills in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.\nPractical experience with SAP systems running on Windows/Linux OS and HANA environments.\nA willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with on-call duties and flexibility to work in shifts, ensuring consistent coverage and support.
