This role ensures compliance with local legislation aligns with SAPs global standards and integrates wellbeing into the overall employee experience. Combining strategy compliance and people-focused programming the role helps shape a resilient safe and high-performing workplace. This role sits in the Head of People & Culture office for MENA\nKey Responsibilitie\nProgram Strategy & Delivery\nDevelop and deliver health safety and wellness programs tailored to evolving workforce needs (e.g. hybrid work psychological safety burnout).\nAlign programs with SAPs People Strategy and Global Health & Safety Management Standard.\nRegulatory Compliance & Risk\nEnsure compliance with all relevant MENA legislation with support from legal team.\nTrack regulatory changes and where relevant update policies processes and training (or support these updates across other functions).\nGovernance & Committees\nLead MENA Health & Safety Councils; run quarterly meetings and drive follow-up actions.\nSupport joint health and safety committees where required by law.\nCommunication & Collaboration\nDrive awareness campaigns that foster a culture of wellbeing.\nWhere relevant facilitate health and safety awareness to employees and managers.\nCollaborate with functions such as Total Rewards and Facilities to embed inclusive wellbeing into the employee journey.\nAct as a trusted advisor and escalation point for H&S concerns.\nBudget & Vendor Management\nManage the health & safety budget and oversee vendors for mental health and safety programming.\nSkills & Attributes\nStrong self-starter with a track record of resolving complex issues.\nSkilled in project management with the ability to lead from concept to delivery.\nExcellent communicator able to influence senior leaders and adapt to different audiences.\nStrategic data-driven thinker who can connect compliance culture and outcomes\nComfortable shifting between high-level planning and hands-on implementation\nPreferred Experience & Knowledge (assets not requirements)\nUnderstanding of MENA health & safety frameworks and legislation.\nExperience in HR employee experience or workplace operations.\nComfortable working with senior stakeholders and running councils or committees.\nFamiliarity with mental health strategies and inclusive wellness.\nBudgeting and vendor management experience\nAdditional Focus Areas\nCollaborate with global teams to align local efforts with global standards.\nAdvise on the health & safety implications of hybrid work models.\nUse data and insights to continuously improve safety and wellbeing outcomes\nBring out your best\nSAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
