You will have the opportunity to influence engineering standards, support processes, and team development while helping build a small team around you as the organization continues to grow.\nResponsibilities\nCustomer Support & Technical Operations\nAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical incidents and customer-reported issues in productive Banking environments. \nPerform root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective and preventive solutions. \nSupport productive customer systems and help ensure stable, secure, and reliable operations. \nParticipate in technical escalations and critical issue resolution activities. \nCollaborate directly with customers to understand technical challenges and identify effective solutions. \nContribute to service quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nDevelopment & Maintenance\nDesign, develop, and maintain ABAP-based corrections, enhancements, and technical improvements. \nBuild high-quality software solutions, collaborating directly with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners. \nPerform impact analysis and support release and deployment activities. \nDebug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across application and integration layers. \nCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. \nStay up to date with innovations in S/4HANA and modern SAP technologies.\nTeam Development & Leadership\nMentor and support team members in their technical and professional development, creating an environment of continuous learning and collaboration. \nContribute to building team culture, ways of working, engineering standards, and support processes as the team expands. \nSupport onboarding and integration of new team members, helping establish a strong and cohesive team foundation. \nParticipate in recruitment activities and help shape a growing AMS engineering capability. \nAct as a technical role model and trusted advisor within the team. \nRequirements\nMust Have\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. \n6-7 years of experience in ABAP object-oriented development. \nStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities. \nExperience working with productive SAP systems and business-critical applications. \nGood understanding of ABAP Objects, enhancements, interfaces, and SAP development best practices. \nDemonstrated experience mentoring developers and supporting the growth of engineering teams. \nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to break down technical complexity. \nStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and customer organizations. \nFluency in English. \nFluency in German. \nCustomer-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. \nNice to Have\nExperience in Application Management Services (AMS) or production support environments. \nExperience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance. \nKnowledge of CDS Views, OData Services, RAP, SAP UI5, or Fiori. \nFamiliarity with SAP S/4HANA development concepts. \nExperience contributing to automation, operational improvements, or knowledge management initiatives. \nBenefits\nYou will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry on an incredibly ambitious project to shape the ever-evolving financial sector.
