The Cloud Solutions Engineer serves as a bridge between the customer, Sales, Product, Engineering, Security, Delivery, Finance, Pricing, and other internal teams required to develop a complete solution.\n\nThe successful candidate will combine strong cloud and SaaS knowledge with commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate complex opportunities across a global organization. This role is part of the Go-to-Market organization and will primarily support North American opportunities while collaborating extensively with global teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nSales & Opportunity Support\n\nPartner with Sales throughout the opportunity lifecycle as the primary Cloud Solutions Engineering resource for SaaS, Agentic AI and cloud-related discussions.\n\nLead technical discovery to understand customer operational objectives, architecture, security considerations, operational requirements, and cloud strategy.\n\nSupport complex enterprise opportunities involving multiple Sapiens products, platforms, and technical dependencies.\n\nServe as a trusted technical advisor to Sales and customer stakeholders throughout evaluation, proposal, and contracting activities (participating in contract negotiating).\n\nProposals, Presentations & Deal Support\n\nSupport RFP, RFI, and other formal proposal processes, including cloud, SaaS, infrastructure, security, and architecture responses.\n\nDevelop and deliver customer-facing presentations, solution workshops, architecture discussions, and demonstrations of Sapiens cloud and SaaS capabilities.\n\nCommunicate complex technical concepts effectively to audiences ranging from engineers and architects to business leaders and executives.\n\nParticipate in technical and commercial contract discussions related to SaaS and cloud services.\n\nHelp identify material deviations from standard SaaS and cloud operating models before contractual commitments are made.\n\nCloud Solution Design & Technical Discovery\n\nFacilitate technical discovery sessions and workshops with customer architecture, infrastructure, security, operations, and executive teams.\n\nExplain Sapiens SaaS and cloud capabilities, including infrastructure, environments, networking, security, resiliency, monitoring, disaster recovery, and operational models.\n\nSupport customers evaluating cloud migration and SaaS transformation strategies.\n\nCoordinate with Product, Cloud Engineering, Security, Professional Services, and other subject-matter experts to resolve complex technical requirements.\n\nCommercial & Pricing Support\n\nDevelop cloud cost models and commercial inputs for new opportunities, expansions, migrations, and contractual changes.\n\nTranslate technical requirements into infrastructure, services, third-party components, environments, and operational assumptions required to support commercial pricing.\n\nPartner with Pricing, Finance, Sales, and other stakeholders to ensure cloud-related assumptions and costs are accurately represented in customer proposals.\n\nSupport scenario modeling when technical or commercial requirements change.\n\nClearly document assumptions, dependencies, exclusions, and factors that may materially affect solution cost or delivery.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement\n\nWork extensively across Sapiens' global organization, including Sales, Product, Cloud Engineering, Security, Professional Services, Finance, Pricing, Legal, and Customer Success.\n\nAct as an orchestrator for complex opportunities where inputs from multiple technical and business functions are required.\n\nContribute to improving and standardizing Cloud Solutions Engineering processes, tools, documentation, and reusable solution assets.\n\nMaintain current knowledge of cloud architecture, SaaS operating models, cybersecurity, AI, and other technologies relevant to Sapiens solutions.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve speed, consistency, and scalability through standardization, automation, and AI-enabled tooling.\n\nSkills & Requirements:\n\n5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Cloud Architecture, technical pre-sales, or a related customer-facing technology role.\n\nExperience supporting RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and contractual discussions.\n\nStrong customer-facing presentation, discovery, workshop facilitation, proposal-writing, and written communication skills.\n\nExperience supporting enterprise B2B software, SaaS, or cloud solutions; complex enterprise software experience strongly preferred.\n\nStrong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to coordinate information across a large, distributed organization.\n\nStrong understanding of public cloud and SaaS architecture, including infrastructure, networking, security, environments, resiliency, monitoring, and operational considerations.\n\nExperience presale solutions on Microsoft Azure or AWS.\n\nAbility to translate technical requirements into assumptions, dependencies, and commercial inputs.\n\nExperience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple technical and business stakeholders.\n\nAbility to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and respond effectively in a fast-moving sales environment.\n\nStrong analytical skills and comfort working with financial models, cloud cost models, spreadsheets, and commercial assumptions.\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with both deeply technical audiences and senior business stakeholders.\n\nDemonstrated curiosity and commitment to continuous learning, particularly across cloud, SaaS, security, and AI technologies.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience supporting enterprise insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.\n\nExperience with enterprise SaaS transformation or cloud migration initiatives.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud cost management, FinOps, or SaaS unit economics.\n\nExperience using AI-enabled tools to improve technical, analytical, or operational workflows.\n\nExperience with Salesforce or other enterprise CRM and sales tooling.\n\nRelevant AWS, Microsoft Azure, or cloud architecture certifications.\n\nWorking Style\n\nThis role is well suited for someone comfortable operating at the intersection of technology and business.
