You will join a rapidly growing team that builds on our recent customer wins. You will be based in the United States (working remotely) but support customer opportunities worldwide.\nAs a technical sales team member, you will be confident in supporting solutions sales into the Life Sciences market. Ideally, you will have deep knowledge of LIMS, ELN, and SDMS products and their application within the Laboratory setting.\nThis position is open to anyone located in the United Kingdomand will be remote, with travel to customer sites circa 20-30% of the time.\nEssential Responsibilities\nMeticulously qualify deals from a technical perspective and efficiently drive the sales cycle forward.\nBe able to communicate the Sapio Sciences technical value proposition clearly and concisely.\nWork closely with account executives to win life sciences customer accounts by technically demonstrating the value of our solution.\nBuild and maintain an expert understanding of the Sapio Science product set and roadmap.\nCreate and maintain a set of demos (and related scripts) of our solution tailored for each of our life science target segments.\nBe able to confidently demonstrate the Sapio Science solution and technical value proposition to customers and prospects.\nUnderstand each prospect’s goals and challenges and be able to reflect them into the organisation to ensure we deliver a successful solution and outcome for all.\nManage the creation of technical proposals, RFP responses and other necessary technical documentation to close a sale.\nWork closely with our Customer Success team to ensure clear and comprehensive technical handover of customer requirements for deployment.\nRequired Education & Experience\nA BS/BA degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline (e.g. biology, chemistry, physics).\nExperience selling or implementing scientific information technology solutions.\nExperience as a SaaS Solution Consultant or equivalent technical sales role.\nPrevious experience with either LIMS or ELN software.\nComfortable presenting the company to scientists and information technology audiences.\nExperience in quickly identifying client needs and intelligently positioning solutions to address them\nRequired skills & abilities\nSoftware problem solver.\nExcellent listening and presentation skills.\nHighly motivated to achieve sales targets.\nAbility to gain the respect and trust of the customers you work with.\nEffectively collaborate across the Sapio organisation to achieve your goals.\nExpert at identifying and working with key customer technical stakeholders.\nFocused on activities that add value and avoiding those that do not.\nDetermined and persistent in achieving your targets.\nMaintain the highest standards of integrity and respect for co-workers, customers and prospects.\nAbility to travel approximately up to 30% of the time.\nDemonstrated success working responsibly and effectively from a home office.\nEffective time management and prioritisation skills.\nExcellent computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CRM Programs).\nIdeally, knowledge of one or more of: Linux operating systems, Amazon Web Services, REST APIs, Python
