This role sits in a specialized aircraft loads environment focused on modeling, simulation, and certification-driven analysis.\nAs a Professional, Engineering (Aircraft Loads), you will support work that helps define how aircraft respond under a wide range of operating conditions. The role is well suited to an engineer who enjoys technically demanding analysis, model-based problem solving, and contributing to engineering outcomes that support both new aircraft development and in-service programs.\nResponsibilities\nConduct simulations and analyses to determine aircraft design loads for new development programs and the continued airworthiness of in-service aircraft.\nDevelop and maintain low- and high-fidelity models supporting loads analysis.\nCreate automated frameworks and tools that improve the efficiency and accuracy of loads analysis.\nDevelop nonlinear actuator-modeling tools to meet Transport Canada certification requirements.\nUse commercial and proprietary tools, including a six-degree-of-freedom aircraft simulator.\nRequirements\nHow to thrive in this role?\nYou hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; an aerospace specialization is preferred.\nYou have 5+ years of relevant aerospace industry experience, particularly in external loads analysis.\nYou have experience in nonlinear modeling and certification processes.\nYou have strong programming skills in C++, with Fortran, MATLAB, and Python also valued.\nYou have knowledge of numerical and scientific computing.\nYou have experience with software development using version-control systems such as Git.\nYou are familiar with finite element analysis tools such as Nastran.\nYou have a solid understanding of aircraft flight dynamics, aeroelastic phenomena including flutter and limit-cycle oscillation, and unsteady aerodynamics in the time and frequency domains.\nYou have experience with fly-by-wire systems and control-law integration.\nYou have an understanding of airworthiness regulations and certification documentation.\nExperience interacting with certification authorities is a plus.\nExperience collaborating with flight controls or structures teams is a plus.\nExperience delivering technical presentations to internal engineering reviewers is a plus.\nYou are eligible to work in Canada.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2516,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Canada","iso":"CA","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Space
