The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ADA programming, real-time embedded systems, and safety-critical aerospace applications. This role involves working throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through verification and certification support, for avionics platforms.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain embedded avionics software using ADA.\nAnalyze system and software requirements and translate them into detailed software designs.\nDevelop software for real-time embedded systems used in aerospace and avionics applications.\nPerform software integration, verification, validation, and troubleshooting activities.\nSupport legacy software modernization and maintenance efforts.\nConduct code reviews and ensure compliance with software quality standards.\nDevelop unit tests and support system-level testing activities.\nCollaborate with systems, hardware, integration, and certification teams.\nGenerate and maintain software documentation, including requirements, design, test procedures, and test reports.\nSupport certification activities in accordance with aerospace standards and customer requirements.\nInvestigate software anomalies and perform root cause analysis.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.\n8+ years of embedded software development experience.\nStrong programming experience in ADA.\nExperience in avionics, aerospace, or defense software development.\nSolid understanding of embedded systems and real-time software architectures.\nExperience with software debugging and integration activities.\nKnowledge of software configuration management tools such as Git, ClearCase, or SVN.\nStrong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with DO-178C airborne software development and certification processes.\nKnowledge of avionics communication protocols such as ARINC 429, ARINC 664, MIL-STD-1553, or Ethernet-based avionics networks.\nExperience with safety-critical and mission-critical software development.\nProficiency in C/C++ along with ADA.\nFamiliarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS).\nExperience with requirements management tools such as DOORS.\nExperience with avionics testing, hardware/software
