Ready to bring your best?\nAbout the Role\nThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production and facility equipment. This role supports plant operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of mechanical, electrical, and computerized systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nHow You Will Make Contributions That Matter\nTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems\nPerform planned and unplanned preventive maintenance to minimize downtime\nDiagnose equipment issues using schematics, manuals, and testing devices\nRepair or replace worn, damaged, or malfunctioning parts\nSupport utilities, refrigeration, boiler, and facility systems as applicable\nSafely operate and test equipment after repairs to ensure proper function\nAccurately document work orders, maintenance activities, and PMs in SAP or other CMMS systems\nRespond promptly to production needs on the plant floor\nComply with all safety regulations, GMPs, SQF requirements, and company policies\nWork collaboratively with production, QA, and other plant teams\nWhat You Bring to the Table\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nMinimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience (food, dairy, beverage, or manufacturing preferred)\nStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills\nWorking knowledge of AC/DC power, motors, conveyors, PLCs, VFDs, and process instrumentation\nAbility to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals\nBasic computer skills and experience with maintenance systems\nWillingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call as required\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequent standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and working in confined spaces\nAbility to lift, push, and pull tools and equipment\nManual dexterity to use hand and power tools safely\nPay range $26.09 - $36.44/hour\nIn the USA, Saputo ranks among the top three cheese producers and is one of the top producers of extended shelf-life and cultured dairy products, with a portfolio of well-loved brands such as Stella, FrigoCheese, Montchevre, Stella, and Treasure Cave.
