Ready to bring your best?\nOverview of the Role\nThe Clerk, Accounts Receivable - Deductions will be responsible for identifying, coding, validating and managing client payment deductions, mostly related to the retail/major accounts. Ensuring that all transactions are reconciled/completed according to standards and procedures and also forwarded to the appropriate internal departments.\nPossibility of working remotely one day per week. This role is based from our head office in Saint-Laurent.\nHow you will make contributions that matter:\nReconcile high volume of customer payment deductions for retail/major accounts \nAnalyse customer documents to identify and code deductions\nResearch and obtain missing documents \nPrepare and process all documentation needed for internal debit memo review and submit for validation \nOffset matching debits and credits\nRespond to external and internal customer account inquiries as required \nEnter information meticulously into the management system (Maestro) and debit note management system (DNMS)\nInvestigate all outstanding transactions that require validation and offsetting \nResolve discrepancies within the required time frame \nApply and comply with existing procedures and policies \nPerform all other related duties\nYou are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in finance or other relevant field or equivalent experience\n2+ years experience in a similar position \nGood knowledge of the Office suite (advanced Excel), knowledge of Maestro (asset) \nStrong analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail\nLikes to take initiative and work autonomously \nExcellent ability to manage priorities and organize work requirements\nDemonstrates interpersonal, communication and customer service skills \nAbility to solve problems\nBilingualism (French and English) spoken and written is essential; as the candidate will be required to communicate with customers and internal teams, by phone and email in Quebec and across Canada.
