Summary Responsible for implementing and sustaining the facility’s Health and Safety management programs, managing the health and safety activities for the plant to ensure regulatory compliance, and protecting human health and the environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities. Provide pro-active leadership and guidance for a strong safety culture in all areas. Develop and maintain close working relationship with manufacturing personnel. Develop and manage a facility safety strategy to include but not limited to: Job Hazard Assessments Plant Inspections Accident Investigations Hazard control and Prevention Reports Tracking and verification of corrective actions Auditing the Environmental, Health and Safety programs Maintain the accident records and files in support of the annual OSHA 300 log and any other OSHA requirement.
