In this role, you will be responsible for performing reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities, as well as troubleshooting manufacturing equipment. You will also oversee the installation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical, instrumentation, PLC, power/control, and automation systems throughout the facility.\nSaputo Maintenance: Behind the scenes\nClick here to explore the inspiring journeys of our maintenance employees-whose passion, expertise, and teamwork transform challenges into success stories.\nTerm: 1 year contract\nHourly Rate: $44.70$/h in addition of an evening premium (+1.00$/h) and a night premium (+1.30$/h).\nSchedule: We offer a fixed schedule on a rotating shift from 7:00PM to 7:00AM.\n5 work days, followed by 4 days off;\n\n5 work days, followed by 5 days off;\n\n4 work days, followed by 5 days off;\n\nWe support and take care of our employees and their families by offering : \nGenerous and complete benefit coverage with group insurance\n\nEmployee family assistance program for employees and their families\n\nEmployee Share Ownership Plan with an employer match\n\nPaid time off: Sick days and volunteer day off\n\nOpportunity to contribute to a collective RRSP & TFSA\n\nOrganized activities for employees and their families\n\nHow you will make contributions that matter:\nMaintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, hydraulic, HVAC and pneumatic electrical control systems.\n\nTroubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.\n\nInstall, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting and other electrical components.\n\nRead and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematic and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations\n\nTest electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.\n\nConduct preventative maintenance programs and maintain records using CMMS.\n\nMaintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices\n\nCapable of medium to heavy lifting.\n\nYou are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications: \nCertified Industrial Electrician or Instrumentation Technician (Apprentices welcome).\n\n3+ years of experience in food processing or manufacturing (preferred).\n\nStrong knowledge of instrumentation, calibration, and control systems.\n\nSkilled in PLC programming and troubleshooting.\n\nFamiliar with SAP and Windows operating systems.\n\nSolid understanding and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)\n\nDemonstrates a strong ability to perform effectively under pressure, with a proven capacity to work independently and maintain high standards with minimal supervision.\n\nDemonstrates initiative, sound judgment, and diligence\n\nStrong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills with high attention to detail\n\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills\n\nIn Canada, Saputo is a leading cheese manufacturer and fluid milk and cream processor, with a portfolio of well-loved brands such as Dairyland, Armstrong, Neilson, Alexis de Portneuf, and many more.
