Ready to bring your best?\nHow you will make contributions that matter:\nPerforms trailer inspections for all inbound and outbound orders, ensuring that all trailers are properly secured before entering, temperature requirements are met, including food safety and quality regulations.\nResponsible for loading and unloading of product through use of Radio Frequency scanners; accuracy, completeness of paperwork, and closely working with shift supervisor, quality control and inventory control to address any discrepancies or issues with each load.\nCorrectly receives product from incoming purchase orders or intra company stock transfers, ensuring correct case counts, code date, pallet count and condition, and recording of any damages resulting from transit.\nResponsible for the overall quality of outbound shipments, correct weight distribution within trailers, accuracy and compliance.\nPut-away of received product into storage location, replenishment of pick locations and full pallet picking for customer orders.\nCompletes daily Powered Industrial Truck Inspection, ensuring safe operation and reporting any concerns to maintenance personnel or shift supervisor.\nUnderstands and follows Good Manufacturing Practices, Saputo's food safety, quality programs and regulatory requirements.\nPromptly reports all potential quality, food safety, and workplace safety hazards to management team.\nAttends and participates in all required training, shift meetings and committees.\nYou are best suited for the role if you have...\nAre able to read and communicate effectively in English\nCan work assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays\nHave basic math knowledge\nHave a demonstrated work history\nAre able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment\nAre able to meet physical demands required for the position (stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb; able to lift up to 50 pounds;\nAble to work in cold environments and around moving equipment; good visual acuity with ability to distinguish colors\nAble to operate material handling equipment\nPosition Abilities and Physical Requirements\nAbility to work in warehouse environment which includes but is not limited to: noise, cold temperatures, standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around material handling equipment consistently throughout the shift.\nPhysical lifting up to 50-lbs unassisted continuously throughout the shift.\nWearing personal protective equipment and following all established procedures.\nGood visual acuity with the ability to distinguish colors.
