As Intern within the Corporate Internal Audit team at Saputo, you will actively participate in the planning and execution of mandates supporting Financial Compliance (NI 52-109). As you progress in your internship, you’ll discover opportunities for you to grow and build your own career path.\nHow you will make contributions that matter:\nConduct Financial Compliance 52-109 Audits;\nUnder supervision, plan and execute audits; evaluate risks, identify internal controls to mitigate risks, design audit procedures, and assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls;\nUnder supervision, assist in formulating, documenting, and discussing deficiencies with control owners, developing conclusions, identifying root causes, and providing recommendations for improvements;\nWith support, draft audit report findings and perform follow-up reviews to verify that management action plans have been implemented;\nProvide periodic updates to the responsible Manager on the status of assigned work;\nEvaluate and test internal controls (manual and automated);\nProvide results and working papers as required;\nAd-hoc requests and Special Projects.\nundefined\nYou are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications: \nCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program specializing in Accounting (minimum 2nd year completed) and working toward a CPA designation;\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; high level of precision and organization;\nProficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint); basic experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Copilot) is a plus;\nIntroductory knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS), audit standards, and risk management frameworks (COSO, NI 52-109);\nFamiliarity with ERP systems; knowledge of SAP is an asset;\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and French;\nAbility to work collaboratively and inclusively with teams;\nEthical, proactive, and objective approach;\nAbility to manage and prioritize workload in a dynamic environment, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines;\nSalary starting at $21.90/hour\nSTATEMENT ON AI\nAll applications are carefully considered by our Talent Acquisition team.\nArtificial Intelligence tools may be used in screening applications.\nArtificial Intelligence is not used to assess or select applications.\nIn Canada, Saputo is a leading cheese manufacturer and fluid milk and cream processor, with a portfolio of well-loved brands such as Dairyland, Armstrong, Neilson, Alexis de Portneuf, and many more.
