Ready to bring your best?\nThe Laboratory Technician in Franklin WI will be a key stakeholder for a new 340,000 square foot conversion facility and will play an integral part of Saputo’s strategy to optimize its cheese network in North America. Saputo has a strong history in Wisconsin and are proud to be expanding our footprint in this area.\nThe Laboratory Technician’s responsibilities, as the subject matter expert of the production shift, actively monitors production areas to inspect product quality, sample and analyze products against established specification and controls. Documents and reports to leadership on any or potential quality deviation and recommends corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).\nHow you will make contributions that matter...\nCollects samples and perform physical analytical sampling and testing of raw ingredients, packaging materials and finished goods dairy food products in accordance with established guidelines. Ability to apply and interpret results.\nPerform microbiological/bacteriological sampling and testing of dairy food products in accordance with established guidelines. Ability to apply and interpret results.\nIdentify and effectively communicate any out-of-specification analytical test results. Follow established notification protocol.\nRoutinely collect product samples from production lines as outlined by testing requirements.\nExceptional organizational skills to maintain all QC records and filing.\nAccurately and neatly complete analytical testing documents and enter data into system.\nAbility to prepare various stock solutions used in the laboratory.\nCalibrate and maintain all lab testing equipment.\nPerform environmental control swabbing after clean-up and CIP/SIP.
