Ready to bring your best?\nOverview of the role:\nSaputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a Maintenance, Licensed Electrician (442A), for an existing opportunity within our organization.\nReporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance, Licensed Electrician is responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and automation systems, common to a dairy operation. This role requires hands-on execution which blends working on the floor directly with equipment and operators, as well as tactful time in the shop rebuilding and repairing.\nSchedule: Afternoon shift, Wednesday to Saturday 3:30pm to 2am off Sunday, Monday & Tuesday.\nSalary: Licensed: Probationary Rate (90 working days) - $45.34;\nLicensed Top Rate - $47.73*\n*A seventy-five cents ($0.75) per hour premium for all hours worked to all Employees classified as maintenance is applied in addition to the base hourly rate\n**Additional shift premiums apply for all hours worked during premium shift times\n*** Tool Allowance shall be paid to the Maintenance employees at the rate of eight hundred and eighty ($880) dollars\nWe support and take care of our employees and their families by offering :\nGenerous and complete benefit coverage with group insurance\nGroup retirement pension plan with employer contribution\nTelemedicine and assistance program for employees and their families\nEmployee Share Ownership Plan with an employer match\nPaid time off: Sick days, floater day and volunteer day off\nOpportunity to contribute to a collective RRSP & TFSA\nOrganized activities for employees and their families \nAdvantageous discounts on Saputo products\nHow you will make contributions that matter:\nRepair and maintenance of filling machines, pasteurizing process systems, packaging systems and conveyers common to a dairy operation\nCarries out electrical equipment modifications\nCompletes preventative maintenance on assigned equipment\nTroubleshoots and repairs electrical equipment in breakdown situations to ensure production efficiencies are achieved\nRead and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and manuals to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations\nTest electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance\nMaintain communication on a constant basis with plant personnel\nWork well with, and support, peer group, other departments and facility as a whole\nFollow all GMP’s and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements\nComply and ensure all work is performed safely while following OH&S, WSIB, and company policies and procedures\nPerform other duties, as assigned, by Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager\n\nYou are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:\nMust hold a 442A Industrial Electrician Certificate of QualificationMust provide a Skilled Trades Ontario Red Seal Certification of Qualification and/or an Interprovincial Red Seal Endorsement Certificate\n\nMinimum 3 years of electro-mechanical in an industrial/manufacturing setting and PLC\nMinimum 1 year of experience related to food industry, preferably dairy, or high-speed process equipment or packaging experienceDemonstrates solid Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), understanding and compliance. Knowledge of Food Safety Systems would be an asset;\n\nExtensive experience with electromechanical preventative maintenance and troubleshoot of high-speed automated packaging equipment\nStrong understanding of all applicable Electrical - Mechanical - Safety Provincial Codes.\nInstrumental knowledge with pressure, temperature, flow controls, calibrations and programing\nAdvanced electromechanical and technical aptitude;\nKnowledge and experience with PLC controls and programming systems.
