Ready to bring your best?\nOverview of the Role\nThe role of the Maintenance Scheduler is critical to the ongoing success of the Maintenance and Reliability effort. The Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling maintenance tasks and activities across our facilities. The job will include scheduling, coordinating preventative maintenance, responding to emergency maintenance requests, and managing maintenance of team resources.\nSalary\n$61,985.00 to $77,480.00\nHow you will make contributions that matter:\n\nDetermines available manpower in conjunction with maintenance Planner and vacation schedules.\nDetermines priority of work using the Risk Assessment Method (RAM) provided by Planner.\nCreates both weekly and daily schedules based on work planned by Planner.\nDetermines equipment availability in conjunction with operations scheduling.\nCoordinates with the Maintenance team and other stakeholders for scheduling and execution of tasks.\nDevelops weekly and shutdown schedules as required.\nBalances labor resources and priorities\nManages maintenance backlog\nCoordinates and schedules work for all third parties’ activities and contractors.\nEnsure all maintenance activities are tracked and documented.\nCommunicates equipment and job order status to appropriate people and departments.\nCommunicate regularly with management about the status of maintenance activities.\nLiaise with other departments to ensure understanding of the schedule.\nGenerates Maintenance reports and KPIs.\nRespect the organization's policies, applicable laws, and ensure work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.\nWork closely with the material coordinator to align strategies for best inventory management of maintenance supplies, tools and equipment.\nSupport emergency maintenance requests as needed.\nUnderstanding and adhering to all safety & food safety rules and regulations.\nOther duties performed as assigned.\nYou are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications: \nA Technical qualification or Trade Ticket.\nExcellent with advanced Microsoft Excel. \nExperience in Planning and scheduling in the food industry is considered an asset.\nCertified Maintenance & Reliability Professional is considered an asset.\nKnowledgeable about Lean Six Sigma processes and terminology.\nExperience with safe work practices, such as Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), confined spaces, job task permitting, etc.\nExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as FIIX, SAP.\n\nWe support and care for our employees and their families by providing:\nCompetitive salaries\nAdvantageous corporate agreements\nFull range of group insurance benefits\nGroup retirement pension plan with employer contribution\nPurchase option of company stocks\nGroup RRSP\nHealth and wellness program in the workplace\nAssistance program for employees and their families\nSaputo products at a discounted price\nWe support employment equity.
