Ready to bring your best?\nShift 10:00PM to 6:00AM\nHow You Will Make Contributions That Matter:\nSchedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and services with outside contractors that will troubleshoot and repair ammonia refrigeration system. Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC, water heating system, and boiler/condenser water chemical system.\n\nPerform daily, weekly, monthly, and/or annual facility and building inspections along with assigned work orders. Assist with refrigeration system inspections.\n\nAssist with maintaining refrigeration logs and records documenting time, material and parts.\n\nResponsible for housekeeping of all assigned areas; including ammonia refrigeration engine room, maintenance shop area, and chemicals/parts storage area.\n\nTimely work order execution based on assigned priority.\n\nOperate forklifts and aerial platforms as needed; complete daily Powered Industrial Truck Inspection, ensuring safe operation and reporting any concerns to maintenance manager or shift supervisor.\n\nUnderstand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Saputo's food safety, quality programs and regulatory requirements.\n\nAdhere to industry practices, SOPs, LOTO procedures and other safety guidelines.\n\nPromptly report all potential quality, food safety, and workplace safety hazards to management team.\n\nAttend and participates in all required training, shift meetings and committees.\n\nWork weekends and/or holidays based on business needs and task completion timelines.\n\nPerform all other duties as assigned.\n\nYou Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have The Following Experience, Skills, and Qualifications\nAbility to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills.\n\nMust be able to utilize manufacturer equipment manuals, troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns, and read mechanical drawings.\n\nMust have the ability to run various computer applications that apply to the department and business to an acceptable degree, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Products, and CMMS program, manufacturing and maintenance software.\n\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams.\n\nMust be able to successfully complete the Basic Ammonia Operator training within 6 months of job assignment.\n\nBasic Electrical knowledge to include NFPA 70e requirements.\n\nAre able to meet physical demands required for the position (stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb; able to lift up to 50 pounds.\n\nAble to work in cold environments and around moving equipment; good visual acuity with ability to distinguish colors\n\nAble to operate material handling equipment; perform pump rebuilds, sensor calibrations, PM’s\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n\n2 Years associate degree in mechanical or HVAC and /or 2 or more years of relevant experience in food/dairy manufacturing preferred.\n\nFamiliarity with Ammonia Refrigeration Systems preferred.\n\nFamiliarity with process instrumentation and process drawings, PLC’s preferred.\n\nAbility to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.\n\nCARO or CIRO Certification preferred but not necessary\n\nHMI/PLC troubleshooting skills\n\nPosition Abilities and Physical Requirements\nAbility to work in warehouse environment which includes but is not limited to: noise, cold temperatures, standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around material handling equipment and refrigeration system consistently throughout the shift.\n\nPhysical lifting up to 50-lbs unassisted frequently throughout the shift.\n\nWearing personal protective equipment and following all established procedures.\n\nGood visual acuity with the ability to distinguish colors.
