Ready to bring your best?\nOverview of the Role\nSaputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a Millwright, for an existing opportunity within our organization. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Millwright is responsible for the routine/preventive maintenance and trouble shooting of manufacturing and packaging equipment\nStatus: Full-Time, Permanent\nSchedule: Friday to Sunday and every 4th Thursday. 6:30pm-6:30am.\nSalary: $47.96/hour. Evening, night and weekend premiums available.\nHours worked on Saturdays and Sundays are compensated at one and a half (1.5) times the regular hourly rate.\nWe support and care for our employees and their families by providing:\nCompetitive salaries\nAdvantageous corporate agreements\nFull range of group insurance benefits\nGroup retirement pension plan with employer contribution\nPurchase option of company stocks\nGroup RRSP\nHealth and wellness program in the workplace\nAssistance program for employees and their families\nSaputo products at a discounted price\nHow you will make contributions that matter:\nCarries out preventative maintenance on assigned equipment\nTrouble shoots and repairs equipment in breakdown situations\nCarries out equipment installations and modifications as required\nRepair parts in shop\nWork effectively in a processing environment without jeopardizing food safety\nFollow company policies and safety standards\nWorks with other trades groups to complete project assignments.\nOther duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager\nYou are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications: \nMillwright licence\nProven experience with process equipment in a manufacturing setting.\nFood industry or high speed packaging experience\nPneumatics and hydraulics knowledge\nAbility to read and interpret Blueprints\nWelding experience is an asset\nExcellent trouble shooting and analytical skills.\nBoiler, refrigeration and air handling systems experience is an asset\nElectrical experience is an asset\nPLC training and experience is an asset\nAbility to work independently with minimum supervision.\nHigh level of self-motivation and initiative.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nDependable with a good attendance and safety record in current position.\nAvailable to work afternoon and night shifts, weekends and overtime as required.\nAvailable to switch shifts at short notice to replace absent workers \nWe support employment equity.
