Ready to bring your best?\nOverview of the Role\nSaputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking an Operator, Production, for an existing opportunity within our organization. Reporting to the Supervisor, Production, the Operator, Production is responsible for assisting in the manufacturing and bulk format finishing/packaging of cheese in accordance with the standards and safety objectives established by Senior Management of the company.\nStatus: Permanent/Full-time\nSchedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6:00pm-6:00am\nSalary: $27.25/hour\nThere are 2 salary increases in the first year of employment, with a target rate of $30.25/hour.\nWe support and care for our employees and their families by providing:\nCompetitive salaries\nAdvantageous corporate agreements\nFull range of group insurance benefits\nGroup retirement pension plan with employer contribution\nPurchase option of company stocks\nGroup RRSP\nHealth and wellness program in the workplace\nAssistance program for employees and their families\nSaputo products at a discounted price\nHow you will make contributions that matter:\nOperate all production equipment as per standard operating procedures to ensure the highest quality product possible\nResponsible for receiving of raw materials such as incoming milk, UF Milk, cream, secondary culture, and whey\nRecord all required data and inventory entries with a high level of accuracy\nUnderstand the disassembly & assembly of cheese production equipment\nAssist in the manufacturing process and cleaning process as required\nEnsure that safe conditions exist always within the work environment; will take appropriate action to protect the health and safety of employees and comply with all requirements as stated in the Health and Safety policy\nFull participation in the HACCP program and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices\nEnsure the efficient and effective use of equipment and material resource\nMust demonstrate teamwork, co-operation, responsibility, initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision\nOther duties as assigned \nYou are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications: \nSound communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated analytical and organizational skills\nMust be self-motivated, results oriented and possess high degree of initiative, and work well with minimal supervision\nMust be available to work various shifts, weekends, and work overtime as required\nDemonstrate ability to use computer software and programs\nProficiency and dependability in current position\nWe support employment equity.
