Ready to bring your best?\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nThe Line Attendant is responsible for accurate records and production identification; maintenance and efficiency of the packaging of cheese. Always adheres to all USDA, GMP, and safety regulations.\nWhat You’ll Do at Saputo\nWill report issues/concerns to Supervisor on duty pertaining to personnel, GMP, quality and safety\nSetup all equipment and supplies- this includes but not limited to Hayssens, metal detector, automated tail-off equipment, scales, glue machines.\nResponsible for generating and documentation of computer pallet tickets\nWill check and verify all codes, labels, and packaging\nWill verify that correct cheese and vats are being packed within specifications\nResponsible for reading computer print outs and following a designated scheduled\nWill ensure communication of product changeovers, products to run before and after changeovers, and duties based on workstation rotation to fellow employees\nWill complete quality checks on film and code dates, metal detectors, product boxes, and use of tare weight and correct lot number usage\nResponsible for taking product samples to lab for testing purposes\nResponsible for all department documentation\nAbility to work in a safe and sanitary manner in compliance with GMP’s\nResponsible for maintaining a clean, orderly and neat work area\nAll other assigned duties\nWho Is Right For The Role\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nComputer experience is helpful\nMust be able to stoop, kneel, and squat for several minutes at a time\nMust be able to stand on feet for at least a two-hour consecutive time period\nMust be able to lift up to eighty (60) pounds\nMust be able to enter into confined spaces\nAbility to reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear\nEmployee is required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and ability to adjust focus\nWhat can Saputo Do for You?\nDevelopment opportunities that enhance you career fulfillment\nMeaningful compensation & benefits that help you care for your family\nOpportunities to contribute to your community and enhance the lives of others through Saputo products\nHourly Range: $26.31-$31.05\nIn the USA, Saputo ranks among the top three cheese producers and is one of the top producers of extended shelf-life and cultured dairy products, with a portfolio of well-loved brands such as Stella, FrigoCheese, Montchevre, Stella, and Treasure Cave.
