Ready to bring your best?\nHow you will make contributions that matter\nWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our dedicated and collaborative payroll team, supporting approximately 400 weekly and fortnightly paid employees across multiple manufacturing sites.\nWorking in a fast-paced environment, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services while supporting employees and stakeholders across the business.\nKey responsibilities include:\nEnd-to-end processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls for a predominantly wages-based workforce\nInterpreting Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) and payroll legislation to ensure accurate employee payments\nManaging payroll reconciliations, PAYG, superannuation and statutory reporting obligations\nReviewing payroll calculations, leave balances and payroll exceptions\nResponding to payroll queries and providing a high level of customer service to employees and stakeholders\nProducing payroll reports and analysing payroll data using Excel\nSupporting payroll audits and compliance activities as required\nWorking across My Workplace (MWP), Workday, Workforce and Chris21/iChris payroll systems, with the opportunity to support the transition of employees onto a single workforce management platform\nContributing to payroll-related testing and system implementation activities\nWorking collaboratively with the broader payroll team to deliver successful weekly and fortnightly payroll cycles\nAbout you\nTo be successful in this role, you'll bring practical payroll experience and enjoy working in a team-focused environment where everyone contributes to the success of the payroll function.\nYou'll also have:\nExperience processing end-to-end payroll in a medium to large organisation\nStrong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards and/or Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs)\nExperience using Chris21/iChris payroll systems, highly regarded\nExperience working with payroll and time and attendance systems\nConfidence reviewing payroll calculations, leave entitlements and employee records\nIntermediate Excel skills with the ability to analyse payroll data and reporting\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy\nExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines\nA collaborative approach and willingness to support team members during critical payroll periods\nExperience within manufacturing, FMCG or other award-based environments will be highly regarded\nWe'll support you with\nExposure to all aspects of payroll, from processing and compliance through to reporting and statutory obligations\nThe opportunity to contribute and support transition Time & Attendance system project\nA supportive and collaborative team culture where team members are cross-trained across the payroll function\nFlexible working arrangements, including a hybrid model with three days per week in the office\nLearning and development opportunities with the ability to grow in your own way\nThe opportunity to participate in our Employee Share Ownership Program\nClick on \"Apply for this job\" to submit your application.\nSaputo Dairy Australia is an equal opportunity employer.\nAll applicants require Australian working rights at the time of applying\nAs a leading dairy processor in Australia, Saputo produces, markets, and distributes a variety of products, with a portfolio of well-loved brands such as Devondale, Liddells, CHEER, Mersey Valley and Tasmanian Heritage.
