Ready to bring your best?\nOverview of the role:\nSaputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a Skilled Worker, Warehouse for an existing opportunity within our organization.\nReporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position is responsible for picking and packing orders in the refrigerated warehouse, including inspection for damaged product, accurate and timely completion of documentation and good housekeeping that meet food safety requirement. Heavy lifting required.\nUtilize tow motor to supply picking line with correct product as required for daily order picking, including picked quantities and downtime etc.\nPalletizer/Stacker\nUtilize tow motor to unload skids for product from palletizer to stock the warehouse floor\nLoader\nUtilize tow motor to load skids of product onto trailers from daily order sheets\nNote: The following responsibilities are common to all assignments listed above:\nRecord any shift data required\nIdentify any leakers and/or damages and move to recycle area\nTroubleshoot all equipment problems pertaining to the area and provide corrective action\nGeneral housekeeping duties for warehouse\nOperation of floor scrubber unit\nDaily Cleaning of Warehouse #1\nGeneral facility cleaning as required\nDaily Updating of Saputo Cleaning Binder and other documents as required\nSpecific Daily Cleaning Requirements will be outlined\nOther duties as assigned\nYou are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:\nGrade 12 education\nWorking knowledge in food or dairy environment\nFamiliar with reading and applying product quantity conversions (when necessary) to customer order shipping documents \nForklift Licensed preferred\nMust be a person who can multi-task and enjoys working in a dynamic environment\nA high commitment level and a team player who works well with everyone\nCan easily assume additional responsibility as required\nQuick at assessing the facts and making a sound decision\nEffective communication skills, both verbal and written\nAll applications are carefully considered by our Talent Acquisition team.\nArtificial Intelligence tools may be used in screening applications.\nArtificial Intelligence is not used to assess or select applications.\n_______________________________________________________________________________________\nWe support employment equity.
