Ready to bring your best?\nThe Warehouse Supervisor is a key member of the leadership team for a brand new 300,000 square foot facility. In this role, you will directly supervise and coordinate all activities within the distribution center to achieve expected results. Key responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work; employee scheduling, performance, training, recruiting and retention; sanitation, quality, safety, and environmental activities.\nThe Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with the cross-functional teams, including Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Transportation, and Resupply, fulfilling all responsibilities in an organized and safe manner and in accordance with the company’s policies, OSHA, and regulatory requirements.\nRegular shift hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Sunday PM through Friday AM (Supervisors are required to report for duty 30 minutes before to the start of their shift and remain on duty for 30 minutes after the end of their shift.)\nHow You Will Make Contributions That Matter...\nSupervises all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory and sanitation.\n\nProvides guidance, training and direction to warehouse support staff with a focus on development, succession and growth opportunities.\n\nResponsible for timely and accurate systematic transactions, including receipts, shipments, inventory and customer claims. Supervises overall accuracy throughout the distribution center activities, with emphasis on customer’s expectations; claims, returns and compliance fees.\n\nPlans, directs and coordinates distribution center activities within assigned shift and department. Ensures proper staffing and shift coverage along with proper shift handoff and collaboration.\n\nResponsible for achieving warehouse related KPIs, including inventory accuracy, on-time shipments, fill rate, order quality and accuracy, product rotation, traceability, warehouse and equipment utilization, warehouse efficiencies and compliance. Identifies process improvements and cost savings opportunities.\n\nDevelops and coaches warehousing teams’ collective and individual capabilities, through proactively supporting recruiting, retention, training, communications, and performance management practices.\n\nSupports and drives safety performance, including employee, building and food safety programs, training and initiatives. Adheres to company’s policies and procedures while supporting Saputo’s values and ensuring compliance.\n\nSupports operational efficiency goals and objectives. Participates in cross-functional projects as needed. Supports change and ensures sustainment.\n\nYou Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Experiences, Skills, and Qualification...\nHave a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a distribution center, warehouse or supply chain workplace capacity. Health and Safety, and Workers Compensation compliance experience is preferred.\n\nAre familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices.\n\nLift truck certification or the ability to obtain a lift truck certification (Powered Industrial Trucks).\n\nPrior experience with WMS system. SAP operations system knowledge preferred.\n\nDemonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nCan adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to successfully lead others through change.\n\nCan handle multiple tasks simultaneously.\n\nAre highly organized with an ability to prioritize and pay attention to the details.\n\nAre a team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.\n\nAre adept at selecting, coaching, developing, engaging, and retaining a team of employees.\n\nAre proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, computer-based applications and have WMS systems experience.
