Ready to bring your best?\nOperates and maintains wastewater treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment in wastewater treatment plant to control flow and processing of wastewater by performing the following duties.\nSchedule: Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm\nHow You Will Make Contributions That Matter\nInspect, operate, and maintain pumps, blowers, mixers, chemical feed systems, membrane equipment, sludge dewatering equipment, and associated treatment processes.\nCollect samples, perform process control testing, record keeping, and basic laboratory analysis.\nMonitor SCADA and control systems; adjust pumps, valves, chemical feed rates, motor speeds, flow settings, and process setpoints to maintain efficient treatment operations.\nPerform routine rounds of the treatment facility, observing equipment conditions and identifying operational abnormalities, mechanical issues, or safety concerns.\nAssist with preventive maintenance activities.\nObserves variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge readings and test results to determine load requirements. \nCommunicate operational status, process changes, equipment issues, and ongoing projects during shift turnover to ensure continuous plant operation.\nSafely handle and apply chemicals including polymers, disinfectants, coagulants, and nutrient removal chemicals.\nPushes/pulls 2500-pound totes using a hand jack and lift 50+ pounds.\nPerforms QA/QC tests according to DNR specifications.\nUse of hand/power tools, skid-loader, truck, and snow removal equipment.\nFollow all safety, environmental, food safety, and company policies while contributing to a safe and compliant workplace.\nFill in as needed for vacation relief.\nYou Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have\nValues that align with the Saputo culture. \nPursuing associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a 2-year or technical college and/or 3-6 years of related experience and/or training; \nPursuing Grade T or above Operator’s License or equivalent experience.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
