Working in support of the BIM / Prefabrication Department, this role will be involved in a wide range of drafting projects, from simple annotations on existing projects to building 3D models for current and future projects in the Electrical contracting field.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO:\nRead and understand electrical construction drawings and specifications.\nModel and coordinate electrical scope.\nCreate electrical installation drawings.\nCreate electrical fabrication drawings.\nGenerate material take-offs.\nAssume additional duties and responsibilities as delegated by the management team. \nWHAT YOU'LL BRING:Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.\nAbility to be a team player\nStrong communication skills\nGood work attitude\n-----------------------------------------------------------------------------\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:\nAssociates degree from a two-year college or technical school which included advanced training in CAD and AutoCAD.\n3+ years of Drafting experience.\nWorking knowledge of Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).\nBluebeam experience.\nPlanGrid Experience.\nCommercial Electrical Experience.\nADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:\nGeneral understanding of commercial and industrial electrical construction\nExperience in the building construction industry.\nPrevious VDC / BIM
