Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred. \n7 or more years relevant engineering experience with an emphasis in power system protection \nExperience with microprocessor-based relays (SEL, Beckwith, GE, ABB, etc) and electro-mechanical relays \nExperience with micro-processor based relay software (SEL AcSELerator, GE Enervista, etc) \nExperience with Generator, Transformer, and Motor Protection studies \nExperience with HV/EHV substation and Line Relaying \nExperience with LV Breaker protection \nExperience using protection system software such as ETAP, SKM, and Aspen \nExperience with NERC PRC compliance evaluations \nValued but not required skills and experience:\nSuccessful completion of the Professional Engineering (PE) exam\nExperience performing transient analysis of power systems using software such as: PSS/E, ETAP, SKM, PSCAD and EMTP-RV \nExperience in short circuit analysis and using software programs CAPE or EasyPower \nTechnology & Innovation\nSargent & Lundy values the appropriate use of technology to improve how work gets done and deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.
