In this role, you’ll oversee build schedules, coordinate cross-functional workflows, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, on-time hardware to support development and deployment of our autonomous surface vessels. This is a leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, low-rate production environments and enjoys building structure from the ground up.\nResponsibilities\nManage day-to-day production activities across assembly, integration, and hardware readiness.\n\nOwn build schedules, staffing, and capacity planning to meet engineering and field deployment goals.\n\nImplement and enforce quality, safety, and documentation standards across the shop floor.\n\nCollaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, and test teams to resolve blockers and integrate new designs.\n\nLead hiring, training, and performance management for production technicians.\n\nMonitor key production metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives for throughput, quality, and cost.\n\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.\n\n7+ years of experience in production or manufacturing roles, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity.\n\nExperience managing assembly of complex electromechanical systems.\n\nStrong understanding of production planning, work order execution, and material flow.\n\nU.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.\n\n Preferred\nExperience in defense, aerospace, or maritime production environments.\n\nFamiliarity with low-rate initial production (LRIP) or hardware startup manufacturing models.\n\nBackground with MES, ERP, or digital manufacturing tools.\n\nKnowledge of IPC standards or military build documentation.\n\nThis role requires access to export-controlled information or items that require “U.S. Person” status.
