Field issues rarely belong to a single organization: closing one can require\nQuality inspection, Engineering analysis, parts availability, vessel access, Mission\nOperations support, customer coordination, repair, and final verification.\nAs the Senior Program Scheduler, you will be the coordination layer that connects all of it.\nYou will own the plan, schedule, dependencies, and follow-through for Field Quality\nactivities so that findings and corrective actions move from identification to verified\nclosure:\nField Issue → Prioritize → Plan → Assign → Schedule → Execute → Verify → Close\nTechnical owners decide what needs to happen. You make sure everyone knows when it\nhappens, who owns it, what it depends on, and whether it is on track.\nThis is a new role on a Field Quality organization that is still being built. You will help define\nthe operating rhythm, tools, and management systems the team scales on.\nWhat You'll Do\nPlanning and scheduling\n\nBuild and maintain the Field Quality master schedule.\n\nCoordinate vessel availability for inspections, repairs, retrofits, and follow-up\n\nverification.\nPlan for customer vessel returns, recommissioning, retrofit events, deployments, and\n\nmajor fleet activities.\nCoordinate inspection and Quality support requirements for upcoming field activities.\n\nSenior Program Scheduler - Field Quality Services\nSpot schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and dependencies before they become\n\nblockers.\nTracking and follow-through\nTrack Field Quality projects, milestones, deliverables, owners, and due dates.\n\nTrack NOEs, Service Bulletins, fleet actions, inspections, and corrective actions\n\nthrough closure.\nTrack IRB and RCCA actions so owners and commitments stay visible.\n\nMaintain action registers and make sure cross-functional commitments are followed\n\nthrough.\nEscalate schedule risks and overdue actions to the right leaders.\n\nCross-functional coordination\nCoordinate schedules across Quality, Mission Operations, Design and Manufacturing\n\nEngineering, Programs, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain,\nWarranty/Customer Support, and field and retrofit teams.\nServe as the central coordination point for Field Quality execution, while technical\n\nownership stays with the right Quality or Engineering lead.\nReporting and operating rhythm\nProduce weekly program status and schedule reports for Field Quality leadership.\n\nKeep high-priority field issues and their status visible.\n\nSupport resource planning and forecasting as Field Quality workload grows.\n\nHelp establish repeatable workflows, meeting cadences, and management systems for\n\nthe organization.\nHow You'll Work With the Team\nField Quality Manager - owns strategy, priorities, customer quality, escalation,\n\nresources, and overall performance.\nSenior Quality Engineer - owns technical investigations, IRB, RCCA,\n\ncommonality/risk assessments, corrective actions, and technical closure.\nSenior Program Scheduler (this role) - owns program planning, schedules,\n\ndependencies, action tracking, resource coordination, execution visibility, and cross-\nfunctional follow-through.\nField Quality Engineers / Inspectors - execute investigations, inspections,\n\ncontainment, verification, evidence collection, and field quality activities.\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in engineering, business, operations management, or a related field,\n\nor equivalent experience.\n6+ years of program scheduling, project control, or program coordination experience in\n\naerospace, defense, maritime, automotive, or similar hardware/manufacturing\nenvironments.\nHands-on experience building and maintaining integrated master schedules, including\n\ndependency and critical-path management.\nProficiency with scheduling and tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6,\n\nSmartsheet, Jira/Linear) and Excel or Google Sheets.\nProven ability to drive cross-functional commitments to closure without direct\n\nauthority.\nClear, concise written and verbal communication, including status reporting to\n\nleadership.\nAbility to manage many concurrent activities with shifting priorities.\n\nPreferred\nExperience supporting field service, fleet sustainment, MRO, warranty, or retrofit\n\nprograms.\nFamiliarity with quality processes such as RCCA/8D, nonconformance and corrective\n\naction systems, MRB/IRB, and service bulletins.\nExperience with vessel, vehicle, or aircraft maintenance and availability planning.\n\nExperience standing up processes, dashboards, or operating cadences in a growing\n\norganization.\nPMP, PMI-SP, or similar certification.\n\nSuccess in This Role Looks Like\nA single, trusted master schedule for Field Quality that leadership relies on.\n\nSenior Program Scheduler - Field Quality Services\n\nInspection and verification opportunities captured when vessels are available - not\n\nmissed.\nIRB/RCCA actions, NOEs, and Service Bulletins closed on time, with aging actions\n\nvisible and escalated early.\nField Quality engineers and leadership spending their time on technical and customer\n\ndecisions, not chasing schedules.\nA repeatable weekly operating rhythm the team can scale as the deployed fleet grows.\n\nAdditional Requirements\nU.S. person / ITAR eligibility requirement, if applicable\n\nTravel up to 10% to field sites and customer locations\n\nAbility to support off-hours or weekend activities during vessel availability windows, if applicable\n\nPhysical Demands\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer\n\nOccasional standing and walking within the office\n\nManual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment\n\nVisual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports\n\nOccasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies\n\nLifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages)\n\nBenefits\nMedical Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance plans covering a range of services\nSaronic pays 100% of the premium for employees and 80% for dependents\nDental and Vision Insurance: Coverage for routine dental check-ups, orthodontics, and vision care\nSaronic pays 100% of the premium under the basic plan for employees and 80% for dependents\nTime Off: Generous PTO and Holidays\nParental Leave: Paid maternity and paternity leave to support new parents\nCompetitive Salary: Industry-standard salaries with opportunities for performance-based bonuses\nRetirement Plan: 401(k) plan with company match\nStock Options: Equity options to give employees a stake in the company’s success\nLife and Disability Insurance: Basic life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage\nPet Insurance: Discounted pet insurance options including 24/7 Telehealth helpline\nAdditional Perks: Free lunch benefit and unlimited free drinks and snacks in the office\nSaronic CCPA Notice for Candidates and California Employees\nIf this role is based in the United States, it requires access to export-controlled information or items that require “U.S. Person” status.
