The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing their workload, executing tasks within the Tax Verification - Audit space, and achieving set targets and objectives across various tax types.\nKnowledge of financial accounting principles, classifying, measuring, and recording the transactions of SARS\nUnderstands and able to apply SARS auditing policies and procedures\nThe end of the contract is 31 December 2026\nJob Purpose\nTo plan and conduct standard audits or verification on a risk profile basis to ensure compliance.\n\nEducation and Experience\nMinimum Qualification & Experience Required\nNational Diploma / Advanced Certificate (NQF6) or Higher in Audit, Accounting, Finance or related field with 2-3 years' experience in an Audit environment\nOR\nSenior Certificate (NQF4) with 5 years’ experience in an Audit environment\nPreferred Knowledge:\nPersonal Income Tax (PIT); Value Added Tax (VAT); Companies Tax (CIT) & Pay as You Earn (PAYE): Income Tax Act, Tax Admin Act, Interpretation of Financials, Basic Audit & Accounting Principles.\nJob Outputs:\nProcess\nConduct standard audits to ensure compliance with the relevant acts. \nAssists in query resolution escalated from basic audits.\nUnderstands the audit process, from end to end, inclusive of risk analysis and dispute resolution.
