You will join a team that works closely with our internal and external customers to meet evolving business and technical requirements as we reshape our infrastructure as a highly optimized, secure, scalable, performant, reliable, and resilient architecture. This will require you to perform a range of activities as you design, implement, maintain, and continuously automate a large cloud-based computing environment. In addition, you will provide technical guidance to team members and, when called upon, serve as a technical liaison between internal departments. The ideal candidate is passionate about new technologies and keeps current with trends in the cloud platform and infrastructure space, while always searching for ways to improve our architecture as technology evolves.\nExperience: 5-7 Years\nResponsibilities would include:\nTo engage with Pre-Sales, Sales, and SAS Cloud support teams to understand key customer requirements\nTo provide overall Engineering support for the hosting environment, including direct support for hosting customer escalations and as a member of the hosting on-call support team.\nTo work with the Compliance team for audit evidence, CIS benchmarks, and other compliance requirements for our regulated hosting environments\nTo work with Azure APIs for automation/integration of standard, supported services\nAssess complex technical and business requirements and take ownership of projects with minimal guidance\nExercise your ability to adapt and react to complex issues in a timely manner as our business needs and objectives evolve.\nReduce technical debt by creating automation for day-to-day operations.\nWhat we’re looking for\nYou’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.\nYou have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.\nPublic Cloud expertise with at least\n5+ years of experience in designing enterprise solutions/services.\n2+ years of experience with an industry leading public cloud provider or equivalent certification.\n2+ years of experience in systems support and consulting.\n2+ years of experience in Linux.\n1+ year of experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes.\nIn-depth experience in all major aspects of Information Technology (servers/compute, network, storage).\nExperience in deploying and managing containerized services.\nDevelopment experience in a major scripting or compiled programming languages.\nExperience using source control solutions like GitHub or GitLab.\nThe nice to haves\nAzure Solutions Architect Expert or other Azure related certifications.\nExperience with large-scale, multi-platform enterprise systems.\nFamiliarity with automation through interaction with remote APIs (REST).\nExperience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or Windows Server Technologies.\nExperience with LDAP, ADFS, SAML, or other Identity and Access Management Solutions.\nExperience with on-prem hypervisor technologies.\nExperience with WAN technologies and how they interact with public cloud solutions.\nAbility to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.\nSAS only sends emails from verified “sas.com” email addresses and never asks for sensitive, personal information or money.
