This role will work closely with two iOS developers to ensure the quality, reliability, usability, and stability of the Orion Mobile application.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for validating new features, regression testing existing functionality, supporting release readiness, and helping ensure the application continues to perform effectively as Orion evolves and Apple releases new versions of iOS. Orion Mobile is a key extension of the Orion platform, providing mobile access to critical business capabilities and requiring dedicated quality ownership.\nAs a QA Engineer, you will:\nServe as the primary quality assurance resource for Orion Mobile.\nDevelop and execute test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for new features and enhancements.\nPerform functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing across supported iOS devices and operating system versions.\nPartner with developers and product owners to understand requirements and validate expected behavior.\nIdentify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.\nParticipate in release planning and release validation activities.\nVerify application behavior following Apple iOS updates and platform changes.\nValidate integrations between Orion Mobile and backend Orion services.\nHelp establish testing standards, quality metrics, and release readiness criteria.\nCollaborate with the development team to continuously improve product quality and testing efficiency.\nExperience: 3-5 Years\nRequired qualifications\nExperience in software quality assurance, testing, or quality engineering.\nStrong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.\nExperience creating and executing test plans and test cases.\nExperience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to work effectively with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience working within Agile development environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience testing mobile applications on iOS devices.\nFamiliarity with native mobile application development concepts.\nExperience testing REST API integrations and backend services.\nExperience using defect tracking and test management tools.\nKnowledge of mobile device management and enterprise mobile applications.\nExperience validating application behavior across multiple devices, screen sizes, and operating system versions.\nUnderstanding of accessibility and usability testing principles.\nExperience supporting release and deployment testing.\nYou are welcome here.\nAt SAS, it’s not about fitting into our culture - it’s about adding to it.
