In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders to develop and execute sourcing strategies, lead supplier negotiations, manage contracting activities, and deliver measurable business value across a diverse portfolio of indirect spend categories.\nThis role may support one or more of the following areas:\nMarketing, Finance, Professional Consulting\nSoftware and Technology Purchases\nAs a trusted advisor, you will work closely with business owners and partners across Legal, Finance, Privacy, Security, Risk, Tax, and other functions to balance cost, quality, service, innovation, and risk while supporting SAS business objectives.\nThis role may support additional categories as business needs evolve.\nAs a Procurement Analyst, you will:\nManage all aspects of the sourcing process for the organization.\nLead end-to-end sourcing initiatives across assigned categories, from business requirements gathering through supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and implementation. \nDevelop category and sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and market conditions. \nBuild and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and suppliers.\nCollect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to support sourcing decisions and business recommendations. \nConduct market research, supplier assessments, benchmarking activities, and spend analysis to identify opportunities and inform sourcing strategies. \nNegotiate commercial terms and conditions while partnering with Legal and other stakeholders to manage contractual and business risk. \nMonitor supplier and contract performance, facilitate business reviews, resolve performance issues, and coordinate corrective actions when needed. \nIdentify and implement opportunities to improve cost, quality, service, efficiency, and risk management outcomes. \nTrack and communicate sourcing results, including savings, cost avoidance, risk mitigation, and other measurable value delivered to the business. \nContribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and best practices.\nRequired Qualifications\nFive or more years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply management, or related field, including supplier relationship management and contract administration. \nBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Management, Finance, Marketing, International Business, or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered. \nDemonstrated experience leading supplier negotiations and coordinating contract development and review activities. \nStrong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, including experience with forecasting methods and total cost of ownership analysis. \nExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across functions. \nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nYou’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable.
