In this role, you will work closely with software developers, designers, product managers, and fellow testers to help ensure the quality, reliability, usability, and accessibility of our web-based applications.\nAs a member of the team, you will contribute to the design, development, and execution of automated and manual testing solutions, advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle, and help deliver a seamless experience for our customers. You will play a key role in validating new features, investigating issues, improving test coverage, and supporting continuous improvements that enhance product stability, performance, and overall quality.\nAs a SDET, you will:\nCreate and maintain a high quality of test automation using modern development techniques and provides key data points to support metrics-based decision making.\nApply automated tests at every layer of the application stack, both inside and outside of the continuous delivery pipeline.\nProduce and analyze metrics that illustrate the quality of applications and develop insight that drives the direction of quality engineering.\nWork with the team to promptly triage test failures with precision and accuracy, maintaining the health of the build pipeline.\nWork collaboratively with development, product, operations, and support peers to encourage quality, as a key design element in all work efforts.\nEngage in code reviews for product, test, and infrastructure code.\nUnderstand the role of deployment, migration, security, and performance in the continuous delivery lifecycle.\nBe encouraged to participate in open-source projects on behalf of SAS.\nEmbrace curiosity, passion, authenticity and accountability.
