role supporting the intersection of Sales, Architecture, and Delivery, contributing to the growth of SAS Managed Cloud through high-quality solution design, technical validation, and collaboration across teams.\n\nThis is a development-focused architecture role, working as part of a global enablement capability.\n\nSupport the shaping of opportunities through structured technical input.\n\nContribute to solution design aligned to SAS standards and Managed Cloud capabilities.\n\nEnsure solutions are feasible and aligned with delivery and operational expectations.\n\nBuild capability across architecture, sales engagement, and delivery alignment.\n\nYou will work closely with Customer Advisory, Professional Services, and Managed Cloud teams globally, contributing to consistent solution outcomes, reducing delivery risk, and supporting reuse of best practices across regions.\n\nSolution Design & Architecture Contribution.\n\nSupport the design of scalable, secure, and cost-effective SAS Managed Cloud architectures across opportunities.\n\nTranslate business requirements into structured technical solution components aligned with customer and operational needs.\n\nContribute to architecture artefacts including high-level designs, sizing inputs, and supporting documentation.\n\nParticipate in architecture discussions and validation activities.\n\nSales Cycle Support.\n\nProvide technical credibility within sales cycles, contributing to solution positioning and proposal development.\n\nSupport the translation of customer requirements into technical solutions and articulating these within proposals.\n\nContribute to customer engagements including presentations, workshops, and technical discussions.\n\nAssist in RFP/RFI responses and other proposal-related activities.\n\nSales-to-Delivery Alignment & Risk Awareness.\n\nEnsure proposed solutions are aligned with delivery capabilities and Managed Cloud operational constraints.\n\nCollaborate with delivery teams to validate assumptions and identify dependencies.\n\nSupport smooth transition from pre-sales into implementation and managed operations.\n\nIdentify technical risks and escalate where appropriate, contributing to mitigation approaches.\n\nArchitecture Governance & Standards Application.\n\nApply structured architecture design approaches, including requirements capture and design validation.\n\nFollow established architecture standards, patterns, and governance frameworks.\n\nParticipate in design reviews and quality assurance processes.\n\nContribute feedback to improve consistency and repeatability of solution approaches.\n\nReusable Assets & Enablement Contribution.\n\nSolution components.\n\nArchitecture artefacts.\n\nPre-sales supporting materials.\n\nSupport adoption of standard approaches and best practices across opportunities.\n\nParticipate in knowledge sharing and enablement activities.\n\nStakeholder Collaboration, Development & Management.\n\nWork closely with Account Executives, Customer Advisory, and delivery teams to support opportunity execution.\n\nBuild effective working relationships across global teams.\n\nParticipate in customer discussions with guidance from senior architects as needed.\n\nDevelop technical and architectural capability across SAS technologies and SAS Managed Cloud Services.\n\nGuide and advise stakeholders on appropriate design approaches, methodologies and technologies to support the required business outcomes.\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).\n\nExperience in technical architecture, pre-sales, or solution engineering roles.\n\nSolid knowledge of SAS platforms and enterprise architecture within managed cloud environments.\n\nProven experience supporting complex, enterprise-scale sales cycles.\n\nA commercial awareness and ability to align technical solutions to business outcomes.\n\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.\n\nAbility to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment.\n\nPreferred qualifications.\n\nExperience defining or applying architecture governance frameworks and standards.\n\nExperience creating reusable assets (blueprints, patterns, whitepapers).\n\nStrong background in customer enablement, workshops, and consulting engagements.\n\nStrong problem solving, communication, decision-making and interpersonal skills.\n\nCloud platform knowledge and certifications (AWS,
