This team provides data access to different data sources so our customers can make better decisions faster. These interfaces are out-of-the-box solutions that provide enterprise data access and integration between SAS and third-party databases. SAS/ACCESS interfaces enable SAS solutions to read, write, and update data no matter what native databases or platforms are being used.\nAs a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will:\nCreate and maintain high quality test automation using modern development techniques and provide data points to support metrics-based decision making. \nWork collaboratively with development, testing, product, operations, and support peers across the SAS9 Division to encourage quality, as a key design element in all work efforts. \nDeploy and support robust SAS 9.4 test environments. \nAnalyze test results and recommend corrective action where necessary. \nIdentify and clearly report reproducible defects and verify resolutions. \nCollaborate with our Project Management team to ensure proper tracking and compliance. \nProtect users from escaped defects, participate in support escalations, and value Customer Experience (CX) above all. \nStay informed of emerging technologies and use them appropriately. \nSupport internal and external customers. \nEmbrace curiosity, passion, authenticity and accountability. These are our values and influence everything we do.\nRequired qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field. \nA minimum of 5 years experience in software testing on large software projects. \nExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills coupled with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. \nStrong data base proficiency (multiple preferred, SQL, NoSQL, etc). \nC programming skills and/or SAS coding experience. \nExperience with multiple operating systems, including Windows and UNIX. \nProficiency with scripting languages (eg. Python). \nWorking experience with CI/CD tooling (eg.
