We’re recognized around the world for our inclusive, meaningful culture and innovative technologies by organizations like Fast Company, Forbes, Newsweek and more.\nAbout the job\nThe R&D Data Quality team within the Analytics Lifecycle organization is seeking a Software Development Manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for the end-to-end development of SAS Data Quality applications and features - the key means of providing quality data to drive and feed SAS Analytics.\nIn this role, you will drive multiple product’s growth, evolution, and support by leading a high-performing team. You will have a significant impact in this strategically important area in the Analytics Lifecycle.\nAs a Manager, Software Development, you will:\nManage all aspects of the team, including development and testing, internal and external communication/collaboration, performance management and improvement, and professional growth.\nUnderstand the career objectives of your team members and support them on their journey to achieve them.\nWork with product management, project management and development team to understand, refine, and scope for planned work.\nCollaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver intuitive, high-quality, customer-focused experiences.\nEnsure that projects are completed and implemented in a timely manner while following established procedures and schedules.\nRegularly communicate development and testing status, project risks, resource requirements and allocation, and other relevant knowledge with upper management.\nEnsure R&D standards and guidelines are followed per established criteria, including adoption of the appropriate technology and architecture standards.\nBecome actively involved in daily operations and duties as needed to meet schedules or resolve complex problems or issues.\nEnsure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.\nEmbrace curiosity, passion, authenticity, and accountability.
