When you join Team Sasol, you are joining a company that puts people at the center of everything we do.\nSasol invests in its employees along every stage of the career path and offers development opportunities to help you cultivate your career in a culture that embraces diversity and inclusion.\nJob Requisition ID\n13456\nClosing Date\n19 November 2026\nOME\nMRS: Mining\nLocation\nSecunda, Mpumalanga\nPurpose of Job\nTo oversee QA/QC activities in operational area.\nTo control legal documentation as required.\nKey Accountabilities\nPlan, develop, and implement QA / QC programmes for field staff.\nManage the accredited Ex. certification mark scheme for Sasol Group mining central workshops in accordance with health and safety regulations.\nImplement, maintain, and lead continuous improvement of quality management system with focus finished goods.\nCreate quality inspection reports in the field.\nAdminister and maintain automation scripts and review product changes across different BUs.\nCoordinate with product owners to provide efficient feedback.\nAlign equipment provided by manufacturers / suppliers and subcontractors with the principle of explosion protection.\nQualify new suppliers through an audit of their facilities and / or evaluation of their capabilities and business practices.\nSet requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.\nPerform internal and external audits of QC systems and repair procedures according to mark scheme requirements.\nEvaluate and detect quality trends to identify significant problems, and obtain / recommend appropriate action to be taken.\nCompile and amend legal flameproof certification reports in adherence to SANS IEC specifications.\nApprove design specifications and technical drawings within area of responsibility. Oversee compliance with legal requirements about MHSA reg. 21.\nReview and assess technical reports on data accuracy, relevancy, and completeness.\nMonitor the effectiveness of the project quality management system. Implement improvements when required.\nIdentify and mitigate potential risks.
